MINISTRY
The Ministry of Daughters of St. Dominic
is to promote spiritual renewal and growth through
retreats, spiritual direction, prayer for emotional
healing, and spiritual talks.
|
RETREATS
The Daughters of St. Dominic provide retreats for
individuals or groups at our Dominican House of Prayer
and Peace (located in Steubenville, Ohio) or we can
travel to other locations by written invitation.
They can be either a day; a weekend; or a week long with
our sisters providing talks or spiritual direction.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER
With our love for priests and religious we intercede
monthly to our Lady under the title of Rosa Mystica.
We also participated in a Cenacle to
pray for priests.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Individual spiritual direction is an important
and major part of our ministry.
Living in such a hectic world, it is sometimes
very difficult to hear what the Lord is trying
to tell us, that is why the Daughters of Saint
Dominic focuses their ministry on spiritual
direction.
We are here to help be a conduit or an aide for
individuals to recognize how the Lord is
speaking to them. |

PARISH SCHOOLS
OF RELIGION
Although St. Dominic and St. Thomas Aquinas were
great Dominican teachers, the Daughters of St.
Dominic do not commit to a full-time teaching
schedule. We do however strongly believe in
teaching children about their faith and we do
this by teaching in the Parish School of
Religion in Steubenville, Ohio on a weekly
basis. |
PASTORAL
ASSISTANTS
We serve as Pastoral Assistants to the students
at Franciscan university who are seeking prayer
or spiritual guidance. |
