Our spirituality follows that of Saint Dominic whose
calling was to spearhead the spiritual renewal of the
Church of his day and time. Saint Dominic was always
committed to the truth and to preaching the truth.
We feel called to teach the truth through retreats,
parish missions, spiritual talks, and spiritual
direction as well as having a House of Prayer.
The pillars of our life together are Prayer, Community,
Ministry, and Study. "To give to others the fruits of
contemplation," is our primary goal. Each day is
centered around the Mass and an extended time of
Eucharistic adoration as well as the Liturgy of the
Hours.
Since
Saint Dominic received the rosary from our Blessed
Mother we recite the rosary daily and have our Lady as
our patroness.
We are empowered by the gifts of the Holy Spirit to
proclaim the gospel of JESUS CHRIST!
The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because HE has
anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted: "HE
has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives; and the opening of the prison
to those who are bound." (Is 61:1). |
